Description
Oats are a versatile and nutritious grain which contain more soluble fibre than any other grain. Jumbo or rolled oats are a healthy alternative to wheat and give good texture when used in baking bread. Rolled oats re-absorb water and cook much more quickly than whole groats or steel-cut oats. Oatmeal offers an ideal substitute to flour when used to make pancakes and savoury crackers.
