Product of Italy San Marzano tomatoes are grown and apcked seasonally in Campania, in an area between the provinces of Naples, Salerno and Avellino, known for its fertile volcanic soil, hiugh water table and ideal mediterranean microclimate. These tomatoes are very sweet with a very subtle amount of acidity. They are also plump and finely textured.
